# Aloud

> Aloud (aloudhq.store) is a Shopify accessibility service that fixes screen-reader, keyboard, contrast and ADA/WCAG 2.2 AA problems in your theme code, not with an overlay widget. Free scan, one free fix on a copy of the theme, then Starter $399 or Full store $899.

Aloud does not ask for a Shopify password. Merchants approve theme access with a 4-digit collaborator code. Nothing goes live until they preview and publish. This is a technical service against WCAG 2.2 AA, not legal advice and not a lawsuit guarantee. US ADA demand letters and the EU European Accessibility Act (since June 2025) both get pointed at that WCAG bar. An overlay widget does not meet it.

## Not this

- Not a Shopify accessibility app / overlay / toolbar (accessiBe, UserWay, and similar).
- Not a lawsuit shield. Nobody can honestly sell that.
- Not Shopify's own checkout. Shopify owns that. Aloud works on the merchant's theme, colours, labels, alt text and keyboard access.
